How to add a custom domain in Digily Link? Detailed documentation explaining step by step how to configure A and CNAME records.

To use a custom domain on Digily Link, you need to add either an A record or a CNAME record.

SCENARIOS

There are two scenarios:

Using a subdirectory (domain.com/link)
Using a subdomain (link.domain.com).

If you already have a website (i.e., domain.com is linked to another server), you cannot use Digily Link as domain.com/link. Instead, you can use subdomains like link.domain.com and link.domain.com/page. For this, a CNAME record needs to be added.
If your domain doesn’t have a website (not linked to another server), you can use Digily Link as domain.com or domain.com/link. In this case, an A record must be added. If you don't have hosting or a server, you can add your domain to Cloudflare and create an A record there.

Adding an A Record on Cloudflare

Log in to your Cloudflare account and select the domain you want to add.
Go to the "DNS" section.
Click the "Add Record" option at the top.
Follow the instructions below to add an A record.

Adding CNAME or A Record

1. Adding DNS Records in cPanel

Log in to your cPanel account.
In the "Domains" section, click on "Zone Editor."
Click on the "Manage" button next to the domain for which you want to add the record.
Click "Add Record" at the top and follow these steps:

For A Record:

Name: @ (or domain.com)

Address: Digily Link IP address (e.g., 185.149.103.126)

For CNAME Record:

Name: links (or the subdomain name)

CNAME: dijital.link
After adding the record, click the "Save" button.

2. Adding DNS Records in DirectAdmin

Log in to your DirectAdmin panel.
Go to the "DNS Management" section.
Select your domain and click on "Add New Record."
Fill in the following details:

For A Record:

Name: @ (or domain.com)

Type: A

Value: 185.149.103.126

For CNAME Record:

Name: links (or the subdomain name)
Type: CNAME
Value: dijital.link
Click the "Save" button.

3. Adding DNS Records in Plesk Panel

Log in to your Plesk panel.
Go to "Websites & Domains" from the left menu.
Select the related domain and go to "DNS Settings."
Click "Add Record" and follow these instructions:
